Volunteer for History Fest 2013
Because of wonderful volunteers, History Fest happens each year and makes lasting memories for so many kids. If you can donate just one morning, one afternoon, one day, anything…you will make a lasting impression on lots of great kids from all around the area. There are many activities and other help that we need, with more and more activities added each year. Below is a list of areas that we need your help with ~

Saturday ~ 1:00p.m. – 4:30p.m.

Adopt an Activity
Here Ye Mankato Area Organizations!
Jack McGowan and the 2013 History Fest Committee invite you to Adopt an Activity! Staff an activity with volunteers throughout the weekend of October 9th-12th.
Playfully Preserve History while making memories that last a lifetime.
Organizational volunteer sponsorships of selected activities are now being sought for our Adopt an Activity campaign. The hope is that your organization will understand the value of this event. Please encourage your employees and associates to donate their time to help educate our area elementary schoolchildren.
The event will again be at the Jack McGowan Farm (located just off of Highway 33 south from Highway 90 on Hawkeye/Old Shamrock Lane). Volunteers will be needed for the following shifts:
Thursday and Friday ~ 8:00a.m. – 11:30a.m.
and 11:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.
Saturday ~ 9:30a.m. – 1:30p.m.
and 1:00p.m. – 4:30p.m.
Email Denise today to learn what activities need your help. Upon learning of the activity you are able to assist in please click on the Adopt an Activity form below and return it to Denise as soon as possible to confirm your participation and donation.

Anything you can do to inform those you know and encourage their participation would be most appreciated. Your thoughtfulness and generosity will assist in keeping this enriching tradition alive for area youth.
